“We’re all called to different vocations in life,” he says. “Our vocation is founded in personal prayer, but public ministry and church ministry are the seeds of finding which call you think that God is calling you to.”

God gives us gifts, he explains. And when we use those gifts, we fall in love with ministry. And ministry helps us discover our calling.

“Find something that gives you joy and satisfaction. Because even though it is about joyful self-sacrifice, the minister that can’t take joy in his own work can’t really prosper long term.”
