“Take delight in the Lord your God, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” (Psalm 37:4)
Why?
Because when we feel delighted about God and his Lordship over our lives, we want what he wants.
Because when we feel delighted about our Lord, it’s because we know he is good and his ways are good and his desires are good.
Because when we want what is good, he places his own desires within us. The desires of our hearts originated with him. Of course he will fulfill those desires!
