The burden that’s weighing you down: Jesus is bigger and stronger than that. He’s got you well taken care of. He’s carrying you through this hardship.
Though you sometimes feel alone, you are not. Jesus is holding you. He is sad with you when you feel sad. And he knows reasons for you to rejoice. Give yourself the gift of getting away from your hardships for a while. Give yourself a break. Go visit a friend or a retreat center or a peaceful vacation spot or a thrilling theme park.
Rest in Jesus, and playfully get silly with Jesus, and hear him give you a few of reasons to rejoice.
