What’s important today? In your plans for today, what’s the most valuable thing to be done? Where is it placed on your agenda? Often, the important gives way to the urgent.
Other times, important plans give way to the easy or the more enjoyable.
The first most important thing we do each day should be prayer that unites us to God’s will and love and help. The Eucharist, if available, is the best means for attaining this unity.
Trust the ideas and inclinations that come to you while are humbly, prayerfully uniting yourself to Christ and his desires for your day.
Then, plan your agenda around that. That what’s important today.
