Dear Lord, Saint Dominic was one of the children touched by Saint John Bosco's ministry. An altar boy at age five, he started on the road to the priesthood at age twelve but died at fifteen. Yet, he accomplished much good in his short life because of his piety. His birthplace and childhood home are now retreat houses for youth. I ask him to pray for the children in my life. May each one come to know You, O Lord, while still young, and be a witness to others. Assign to them faith-filled people who will help them as powerfully as Saint Dominic was helped by Saint John. Saint Dominic, pray for us. Amen.
