Going next to the
Church of the Ascension near Bethany really drove home the point: Jesus is not dead! He
has risen and He has ascended to His Father where He prays for us and ministers to us and
gives us love for all those who don't yet understand what He has done. |
When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany,
he lifted up his hands and blessed them. While he was blessing them, he left them and was
taken up into heaven. (Luke 24:50-51)
