The Church of the Holy Sepulchre includes within its walls the Chapels of Golgotha (where Jesus was stripped, crucified, and removed from the cross) the sepulchre or tomb where many believe Jesus was buried, and the Chapel of Mary Magdalene, where supposedly the resurrected Christ first appeared to her. It is a huge building, with much to see and many places to pause and pray.
