They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him .... They knelt in front of him and mocked him. "Hail, king of the Jews!"

Lord Jesus, I have mocked You, too. When others belittled Christianity and I did not speak up, I mocked You. When others needed my love and I was too busy or too "superior" to give it to them, I mocked You. When others needed forgiveness and I held a grudge, I mocked You. Whenever I chose to follow the ways of the world, I mocked You. Whenever I held onto my money, my possessions, my time, or my talents instead of using them to serve the Kingdom of God, I mocked You, because You were not truly the king of my life. Oh Jesus, forgive me! I want to change! I want You to be truly the One I follow, the One I serve, the One whose example I learn from. Amen!
