~ In Memory of Baby Michael Vincent Toscano ~

Jesus Called Me Home Today

Mommy and Daddy, I could not stay
because Jesus called me home today.
I know you're unable to understand why,
but please let me comfort you.  It's O.K. to cry.

God had a special plan you see....
A plan that included both of you and me.
I was created because of your love
and God's loving hand reaching down from above.

Mom, you might ask how can this be?
Why did God take this baby from me?
Dad, you are saying I can't understand....
For only a short time, I got to hold his hand.

Mom, you gave me a temporary home, you know,
filled with warmth..... a place to grow.
Dad you were there with support and love.
God knows you cared and heard your prayers from above.

But I was blessed in a special way....
God was preparing day by day
to take me home to a peaceful place
to experience His everlasting love and grace.

He had a place for me to fill.
Like you both, I was called to do His will.
I was asked to be an Angel when God took me from the Earth.
That's why I had to go so soon after my birth.

Mom and Dad, please let me say....
God knows you're sad because I couldn't stay.
You may not understand God's ways and such,
but He loves you both very, very much.

Just remember I'm in a peaceful place.
His radiant light is shining upon my face.
Continue to pray for comfort and love,
and I will watch over you both from above.

Please be there for each other each and every day.
I've asked Jesus to guide you and show you the way.
And when God calls you home, you'll be able to see
what a beautiful place He has made here for me.
